Account Management Advisor

Candidate Summary
We are looking for an experienced Collections Advisor, from within a customer service environment, able to work to individual performance targets with a keen eye for detail and has the ability to communicate over the telephone and by letter to customers who may be in distress. Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Role Summary
The main purpose of this role is to contact clients who are currently in an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (I.V.A.) and have fallen behind on their payments. By ascertaining the reason for this, empathetically, we are then able to assist them where possible by making alternative arrangements enabling them to continue with their I.V.A. thereby avoiding Bankruptcy.
Responsibilities of the Account Management Team
• Liaise with customers by telephone and letter
• Assess financial information
• Complete forms for review of financial information
• General office administration
Personal Qualities
• Ability to communicate well both by letter and over the telephone
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work to targets
• Ability to read and understand financial statements
Job Details
• Successful candidates will be based at Fairclough House in Adlington
• Salary for the role is £12,000 – however this position offers a salary banding with potential to increase to £15,000
• Starting salary will be £500 less then the agreed salary for the successful candidate for the duration of the probationary period, rising to full salary once the probationary period is complete – typically after three months.
• Holidays – Up to 25 days plus 8 public holidays
