Candidate Summary
We are looking for intelligent individuals who can bring empathy and their experience of life to help customers to commit to resolving their debt problems. We would prefer candidates to have some call centre experience, although this is desirable.

Role Summary
The main purpose of the role is to take inbound calls from customers responding to various marketing campaigns; to take customer financial details and (based on the best advice generated by DFD’s system) to advise customers on how best to proceed with their individual debt problems.
While some outbound calling maybe required such calls will only be to customers who have already contacted DFD, These calls will be predominantly to chase customers for any outstanding packs and 1st payments.
Extensive training is provided before new recruits start to take customer calls. The Debt Advisor will work as part of a team under the close supervision of the Team Leaders. The successful candidate will be in a team with typically 9-11 team members.
There are both Temporary and Permanent roles available within our Inbound and Outbound teams.

Job Details
The Contact Centre works on a rotating rota as follows:
Inbound ~ 8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 11:30am - 7:30pm, 1:30pm - 9:30pm + one Saturday in four with a day off in lieu.
Outbound ~ 8:00am - 4:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 11:00am - 7:00pm, 12:45pm - 8:45pm + one Saturday in four with a day off in lieu.
The starting salary for this role is £13,500 rising to £14,000 after successful completion of a probationary period - typically three months. This position offers a salary banding with the potential to increase to £18,000.
