Claims Handler - Debt Recovery

Excellent opportunity for a Claims Handler to work within Debt recovery team
£13k+
- Your duties will involve recovering outstanding credit hire, storage, repair invoices and uninsured losses from insurance companies – Experience of Road Traffic Accidents and liability disputes will be an advantage.
- Manage a case load of claims from the point of invoicing to conclusion
- Operate a diary system to ensure all claims are regularly reviewed and up to date.
- Process all claims as quickly as possible in order to achieve the goal of efficient debt recovery.
- Recover credit hire, repair and storage invoices.
- Meet daily targets.
- Recover client’s uninsured losses where applicable.
- Liaise with customers, insurance companies and other service providers to ensure the claims process runs smoothly.
- Resolve liability disputes as soon as possible.
- Write clear letters/faxes to insurers outlining exactly what we are claiming and what we require from them.
- Adopt a pro-active approach to claims handling.
- Provide high levels of customer service to client’s.
- Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
- Maintain a general interest in the running of the team
